Overview
This day trip includes three highlights around Hoi An: My Son sanctuary, the Marble mountains and basket boat ride in the Coconut village. In the morning, My Son world heritage is the focus, known as a complex of over 70 buildings constructed from 4th to 13rd centuries. It’s dedicated to worship of Shiva – the God of destroying in Hinduism. After having lunch with local foods, Non Nuoc stone carving village and the Marble mountains are the next attractions. Rising suddenly from the plain, five marble mountains were formed from pieces of a broken dragon egg in Vietnamese legend. In its highest hill, the hikers love to see Buddhist temples, caves and lovely views from peaks. Before the day trip ends, visitors will sit in a basket boat to tour around palm forests and be amazed by the performance in which local fishermans spin the boat. The ride is unique.
